Long Term Care Conference Exceeds CEO Expectations
2012 Partnerships Now Available; New Senior Living Conference Launching
The thirteenth annual LTC 100 Executive Management Conference held this past May received high marks from the most concentrated gathering of long term care and senior living leadership in the country.
Feedback from the roster of C-level attendees was overwhelmingly positive. The overall satisfaction score was the highest in the history of the conference (4.6 out of 5.0) and reflected attendees’ education, networking, recreation and total experience.
“LTC 100 is the best chance I have each year to simply get away from day-to-day management, reflect on what I’ve done, and gather ideas to plan my next steps,” said David Eppers, CFO at Carespring Health Care Management.
Lincoln Healthcare Events also announced the launch of Senior Living 100, which is for C-level executives from AL, IL, and CCRC organizations with a minimum of $20 million in revenue. The 2012 Senior Living 100 Executive Management Conference will take place March 10–13, 2012 at the Park Hyatt Aviara in N. San Diego, California.
LTC 100 will continue to focus primarily on skilled nursing (transitional care, short stay rehabilitation, long stay Medicaid) and serve C-level executives from chains with a minimum of $40 million in revenue. The 2012 LTC 100 Executive Management Conference will be held May 5–8, 2012 at the Ritz Carlton Naples Beach in Florida.

Details Announced for 2011 LTC 100 Executive MBA Program: Transformational SNF-Physician Strategies
This year’s LTC 100 Executive MBA Program is taking a “deep-dive” look at the future of physician strategy for skilled nursing operators. A group of talented physicians with knowledge of both the hospital and post acute environments will give you their candid perspectives on the current state of SNFs’ clinical abilities as well its desired future development.
Included in this, a group of talented physicians with knowledge of both the hospital and post acute environments will give you their candid perspectives on the current state of SNFs’ clinical abilities as well its desired future development.
The clinically highest-quality SNFs have the potential to capture the lion’s share of hospital referrals, while middling performers are actually at risk of losing Medicare market share. So the future stakes are high, and the most forward-thinking post acute care operators are beginning to recognize that new paradigms for increased physician involvement in their facilities are needed. After all, transitional care operators of the future are not too dissimilar from community hospitals of the present, and naturally, doctors form an integral part of this level of clinical care.
